a mate of mine has a problem with his cd drive and asked if i could post his problem on here?

here is his e-mail that he sent me:

I've got a problem with my Multi-bay CD/CD-RW drive- I can't get Windows to recognise it properly, here's the error message:

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

I've tried re-installing the driver, but it doesn't work The drive is a TEAC CD-W28E (if that helps)

Anyone got any ideas? Really don't want to rebuild it if I can avoid it
