I just built a PC, and it has been running exceptionally for the last few months, then, i started to notice it slowed down for odd things, like it would just freeze occasionally. Now it will not boot. It turns on, says "TESTING MEMORY, MEMORY OK....etc." Then where it should commence with "DETECTING IDE DRIVES.." nothing. it just sits there. Of course my keyboard has not been initialized, so that doesn't help, and boot disks don't help because it apparently hasn't detected the floppy drive yet. If ANYONE could help me in any way, it would be greatly appreciated, I'm desperate.

are your IDE cables loose? maybe buy 2 new cables and a floppy cable but it seems weird.. that nothing is detecting.. did you install any hardware/software recently before it happened
