When I place a blank CD-R in my drive in order to burn music files my software shows that I only have about 10 mins of available space on the disk instead of the usual 90 mins(800mb) .Up till now I have had no problems,this occurs both with my Power2Go software and in Windows Media Player.DVD+R disks work fine in the drive as do music CDs etc,have tried clearing temporary files and have loads of space on my hard drive but still no good ...(My PC is a new AMD Athlon(tm)64 Processor 3000+) 512MB. Can anyone help please .Milos.

You might need to update the firware. Find the make, model and current firmware verison number and then look for it on -

(Note: Obviously the higher the number the more recent the firmware verison. Also the first on in the series, is usually the orginal verison supplied by the maufacter)
