    I was talking to my friend who installed all my stuff today and he decided to mention to me that the graphics card was working for a short period and then stoped working. I was quite angry with him that he did not tell me this earlier. DOes this change or effect anything.

    Have you read this:

    Is the card's power line plugged in? Also back to:

    Besides the BIOS have you varified the voltage? & reset the CMOS?

    I would still suggest trying to contact machspeed about the BIOS & throw in the voltage question.

    Also as you see in the above manual the uninstallation of your old cards drivers was important. I don't know if it is too late but you could try to run your old card again and make sure you properly uninstall the old drivers.
