ok...so i got new ram for my motherboard because it was not working....i get to the boot up screen and it says press shift and tab to network boot or something like that. i tried using another hard drive (4gb maxtor..very old)
instead of my 120gb maxtor (fairly new).... and it works fine on the old 4gb one.


does anyone have any sugestions..

The network boot option can be turned off in the bios if you don't need/want it popping up.

Are you saying your new mobo won't "see" your 120GB hard disk?

Are the settings for that device set to AUTO in the bios?

Is the drive properly jumpered for it's position on the IDE channel?

Is everything cabled correctly?
