Hi! This is my first time on this site so I hope I am doing it right! I need help getting the sound on my computer to work. I have a laptop, so the speakers are internal, and they used to work fine. Recently, I bought a wireless keyboard and mouse, and once installed they worked properly-but my sound stopped working. If I have all the volume controls up as high as they will go, I can hear sounds, but incredibly faint-I can barely make out words even if I know what is being said. I know how to adjust all the volume controls and troubleshoot sound, but nothing has helped and I can barely hear anything. Any suggetions?? Thanks!

What is the make & model of the laptop as well as the make & model of keyboard/ mouse?

The notebook is a Compaq Evo N1020v; the keyboard is Microsoft Model # 1011 and the mouse is # 1007.."Microsoft Wireless Desktop Elite Keyboard"..I think thats what you mean Thanks for your help!

Perhaps reinstall your audio driver for Evo N1020v
