Please help,

Have just built new PC (spec below) in task manager, the cpu usage is very high when running small windows programms (up to 97% running MS Money & Adobe Reader at same time), the temperature therefore rises to 70o C and above.

Any help much appreciated

M/B - Asus P5GDC Delux
CPU - P4 3.0ghz prescott (800fbs)
ram - 512 pc3200

have you ran spyware or virus removers???

that can chew it...
