Hi, for some reason my liteon cd writer has stopped working last 3 days ago. I was still able to burn some CDs before and I don't know what happend next.
The cd writer opens and closes and led lights are working okay but it cannot detect a CD, it always say "please insert a cd" and similar messages. I have tried the following:

- Unistall and Reinstall my burning program
- Unistall and Reinstall Hardware (the cd writer)

But it's still the same, does anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks.

Can not detect any CD inserted or just CD-R/RW media? Have you changed your media in the last few days?

no it cannot detect any cd or cdr
