    Can I change partition sizes?

    Hello

My hard drive is divided into 3 partitions - dual boot and a storage area
I'm running out of space in the main boot partition I use and I'm wondering if its possible to change the size of the partition (without reformatting the drive)?

I dont really need to keep the storage partition because I now have a second hard drive installed. So if it were possible I could change it to two partitions.

    many thanks
    V

You most likely need 3rd party sofware to do this.

    What is your Operating System?

    Norton PartitionMagic™ 8.0

    is perhaps the most popular.

There is a Free Trial here (although I don't know if it is fully functional)

Also there is this Totally Free App. if you are up to its' style

I own a copy of Partition Magic and it has worked great for me. If your secondary boot drive isn't in use anymore, you could just format that too. If you need to keep it and it's "in between" your primary boot drive and your storage drive you'll only be able to get a little bit more space.
