tiny display

Re: tiny display
i moved my laptop all over the house so it is definetely not close to anything consistent that would change the display
i tried to see if i could drag the screen larger but it the cursor just stops at the edge and won't move any further
there aren't any buttons to adjust the display size on the screen
my laptop info:
dell comoputer corp. Inspiron 8200
Chipset: intel brookdale i845MP
mobile intel pentium 4m, 1200 mhz (3x400)
ms xp 2002 version
and if this is of any consequence:
under display- video adapter is 'nVIDIA GeForce2 Go'
hope that helps!

This is the latest Dell driver:
Nvidia GeForce2 Go Video Driver for Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
(may take a while to load).
This is the standard instruction for installing video drivers:
Boot the computer to Safe Mode options (F8 after BIOS) & choose:
"Enable VGA Mode".
Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
Find your graphics card driver package & uninstall.
While in Control Panel, go to System, Hardware, Device Manager.
Expand (Click +) besides Display Adapter,
Right Click your graphics card, Choose Properties, Drivers, uninstall.
Reboot the Machine - It will re-detect your graphics card.
Then re-install the drivers.
In your case it probably means uninstalling the driver that had the yellow "!"
Then after reboot run the .exe of this new driver to install.
