[FONT=Times New Roman]i have a 1 yr old Emachines computer that I came home last night to find that my lovely wife jammed the button in, and it won't pop out. My question is that I am a novice at opeing up computers--- I have the side panel off, but am not sure how to get the front paneloff so I can get at the start button to see if it is just jammed or is broken/needs replaced...
I have a feeling that the case is pretty standard, but could use any guidance/help...

We need the model as well. Each machine model is different as to how to remove panels. When you have that we can get started finding the service manual.

the emachine is a t-3450 i believe-- but in the mean time I found a generic emachine site that showed how to pull the front off-- and I wa able to fix it, however thank you for the reply!
