I have a Toshiba Satellite 420 CDS Laptop. When you boot it up, it goes into
password mode. I followed the instructions on their website and nothing happened. So I removed the CMOS Battery, turned on the system and it goes
into the password screen. Is there a way to clear the CMOS Password?

How long did you take it out for? Sometimes, they need a couple of minutes. Also, make sure that the main system battery and the mains power lead are also disconnected.
