Hi. I am having a problem that I hope someone can help me with. My problem is this: I boot up my computer and it sounds ok, but the monitor light goes from green to yellow in a matter of two seconds. 1 out of 100 times i'd say I can get a green light and a picture on the monitor but with an eventual freeze. I have reseated the graphics card and even tried a new monitor to no avail. If it was to be the graphics card, would I still be able to get a picture on the monitor very seldomly? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

can you boot into safe mode options?

if so can you start in VGA mode?

I had a similar problem with my monitor just not wanting to work even though ti had worked before. Something happened when the lead was pulled out while everything was still turned on.
I had to start up in safe mode and found the settings for my monitor had screwed up. simply had to change the resolution back to what it was meant to be and everything worked fine again.
