I have a 250 GB Western Digital Hard Drive that was the slave drive in my old computer. The old computer was running Windows 98, my new computer is running Windows XP with 160 GB Hard Drive. Can I connect the old Hard drive to the new computer without losing any of the information that is currently on it? I was told to recover data from my old hard drive I need a hard drive larger than its 250 GB, but I don't want to copy the old hard drive to the newer drive I just want to be able to access it.

Yepp, u can connect it up as slave drive as normal.
Windows will notice the new harddrive and recognise all partitions and make them usable under XP
