    enough power?

    hi guys, can anyone help?

i have just built a new PC,

    Athlon 64 bit 3500+
    1 gig of giel memory
    Sony DVD RW
2 x 80gb raided (striped) serial ATA hard drives
    1 x 160gb IDE hard drive
    Floppy disk
    radeon X800 Pro
    Creative audigy 2 sound card
external adsl modem, (uses pc power, dosent have its own power supply)

the case i have is a Silentium 1 from Artic cooling, the PSU is only 350 watts, the case has 2 fans on the power unit and 2 fans at the back

i have been playing with it the last couple of days and its fine, but what i am wondering, is do i have enough power?

is 350 watts enough to run above PC? will it burn out?

like i said its running ok, is there any way i can check the power usage?

It wont for long. 300watts it just enough for modern Motherboards with a Processor, Ram, and a single HD (no pwer Video Cards or Raid) What you have listed I would have put a 480 or a 500. I do not know the power spec for the X800, but I know its atleast a 50watt card. Raid adds another 30 to 50 watts to the system due to the control circuits and HDDs. The sound card is not a power drain like the video. I had to replace a 400 watt PSU at my work here due to someone sticking 8 fans and 3HDs on a P4 3.2ghz system with 1gig ram and a moderatly powerful Vid (Radeon 9800XT)
