hey everyone,
i hope u guys can help me out here. my computer has been acting up lately. it would just randomly switch itself off -in the middle of anything, not just games. im certain its not my graphics card, as its too piss to cause any trouble, & ive had my power supply replaced n tested, AS WELL AS my processor & fan. at first, it worked (new amd processor) but the next day after a few hours the computer shut off AGAIN. now its a chore even tryin to turn the thing on, the light comes on but dies instantly. if im lucky it will boot but after only a few minutes (its gotten worse) it shuts off again.
i'm at my wits end. wat could it possibly be? motherboard?
if anyone could shed some light that would really help, as i havent been able to find help anywhere

What is the make & model of the motherboard?
Have you tested the RAM?
It just shuts down? No reboot?
Any "BEEPS" when it wont boot?

just got my hands on another computer to check the hardware against, so i'll make sure to test the ram. sorry, i dunno the make/model of motherboard. the computer doesnt reboot OR make a noise, it just "dies" -turns itself off.

I have also been having the same trouble with my computer recently. Ive tried taking components out/unplugging components (such as modem, RAM, speakers) but nothing seems to work. Im able to boot the computer, just about log in with my username/password and the computer just dies but the power light at the front is still lit indicating that there is power there.
Try going into bios and load optimal settings. then let us know.

alright, lets see here...
i've tried testing with new: ram, motherboard, processor & fan, power supply & a formatted hdd.
none of its worked. the computer still shuts off (without beepin) after a few minutes... wats goin on?! any help appreciated!
