hi all, i recently added a new 20gb hard drive and kept my old 40gb one in, when i turned my computer on, it tried to boot up using the drive i had just added (which is second hand) so i took them out and on the origonal harddrive, the jumper was set to CMS enabled or something similar so i changed it to primary hard drive but the 2nd hard drive had no jumper so i left it after i had put it all back together i booted up and this message came up:

Primary drive 0 not found
Primary drive 1 not found
Strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility


Can you help please?
I am running win XP home
Primary hard drive: Maxtor 40gb
Slave: 20gb Digital western

What was wrong?

there was no jumper in the 2nd hard drive so it was automaticaly set to single or master and the origonal one was set to master so i took the 2nd one out and it kept saying keyboard error so i took the origonal HD out any went to boot menu and it was still set to master and slave HD so i disabled the slave and everything is fine
