I think this is my sound driver, and I want to update it, but I didn't get a CD when I bought the PC, what can I do?

Yes, that's right, it is your sound driver. First option is to run Windows Update. Sometimes, it will find updated drivers. Not very often, but sometimes. Windows Update will be pretty good about getting the right ones for you.

If that solves your problem, let us know so we can close this thread

If Windows Update doesn't find anything, run the D-A-L.com Online Hardware Scan (link is at the bottom of my signature) and copy and paste the contents of the log file here so that we can see exactly what's inside your PC and give you some reliable advice

OK, use the link that Jen gave for www.realtek.com.tw - sounds like they've got some reference drivers that you could use.
