    Question Error Loading Question

Hi, I dont know where to put this question but I thought it might fit here.

Every time I start my computer and it loads the programs, a box pops up on the screen saying: "Error Loading C:\Program Files\Wild Tangent\Apps\CDA\cdaEngine0400.dll"

I dont know what to do, I can't locate this program on my computer and am getting sick of seeing it for so long, what can I do?

I uninstalled this "wild tangent" program but that was a long time ago and dont know where to locate it on the net in order to install it again and then unistall it properly

Can someone please help? Thanks all

Your best bet is to download HiJack This from http://www.merijn.org, then install and run it. It will scan your registry for errors and I suspect that it will find a 'Run' entry in your registry that is trying to load up the Wild Tangent software and failing (causing the error) each time Windows starts. HiJack This will allow you to select that entry in the Registry and, upon your instruction, will remove it for you. After rebooting, you will probably find that it's fixed.

If you run HiJack This but don't understand the information that it reports back, you can save a log file onto your PC and then copy and paste it as a reply to this message - we'll take a look and advise you what to do to get rid of the issue

hey DJNafey, thanks for the link, I will look at it but I went to this site:

    http://www.pchell.com/support/wildtangent.shtml

and it showed me how to remove the "wildtangent" error message, wildtangent is a video game software company and when I uninstalled it, It did not want to remove itself from my computer entirely lol, but with this site I found out that I could do it! Thanks to Jephree, who is another user on this great site, who told me about the removal tool, the problem is fixed.

I used the "HIJACK THIS" software that pchell.com has and it worked pretty good, but Im gonna check out the site you referred and will also have it for help thanks
