no i tryed reinstalling windows

what windows are you installing? & which service pack?
after install did you try windows update for drivers?
or try your manufacturer for drivers?
-
-
where/ what is telling you there is no sound card?
have you checked Control Panel > Sound & Audio Devices?
or rt. click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager then Sound, Video, Game Controllers?
-
the thing in the control panal is what is telling me there is nothing and there are a fue things in device manager
-
so in the control panel > sound > hardware: there is nothing?
What exactly is listed in the device manager under sound/ audio?
-
in the control panal there are 10 things under hardwar but there is only one detectible sound card ( the crapy external one im using)
-
what else is there? what is in device manager? details.
