My friend just bought this laptop 2 days ago and he did a reboot and nothing showed on the screen. His fans are running and his power is on but it locks up before he can get to POST can someone plz give me a suggestion of what the problem could be???

At 2 days old I would suggest going straight back to the retailer & demand a working machine!
