computer self shuts off after about 5 seconds
so i go to upgrade my computer because it would lock upfrom overheating. I just installed the watercooling kit andwhenever I try to boot up it just shuts off after 5 seconds.
Would having the little tep wire in there cause that if it isn't flat enough?
i'll mess with it more tomorrow but would like to hear any other suggestions onwhat it could be as well.
thanks

PC Sounds very much like it's overheating.
Ensure the watercooling pipes are not pulling, causing the HS to lift from the CPU.
Good luck

Sorry, can you just clarify this sentence of yours again, apols for being dim today:
"Would having the little tep wire in there cause that if it isn't flat enough?"
TIA

im sorry, I meant to type "temp". I have a little wire (came with the kit) to tell the cpu temp. I'll have to look at it but I was thinking it might be lifting up the heatsink because there is a flat part of the wire and then it goes into more of a regular wire shape. But yes the overheating is what I thought of. It didn't do that until I installed the watercooling system.hopefully I can get this ....

Hey thanks I got it!
Was the stupid wire. Had to pull it out and position it different and now it is working fine! Thanks for the replies.
