Hi i recently bought a new memory stick thing for my computer and a radeon 9200se graphics card . Now the problem isnt the grqphics its my memory. I puit the memory in and tried to install lineage 2 (( the whole pont of buy the memory and g.c was to play that )) So i go to install and it says i only have 1gb of memory. ive tried taking it out putting it back turning off turning on. I thought compressing my disk would work it didnt. I dont know where else to turn , you guys helped me last time hope you can help me again .........

Please post more information. what type of MB, Make, Ram type, etc.

ummi dont know much about it its 512 sumtin i think mb im computer illlterate.... i thik im just illterate....

If you are on the computer in question, do the D-A-l online hardware scan post the log.

im not the computer doesnt have internet acces as well. many problems right now

Actually it just it odesnt recongnize that the memory is there and that theres no internet connection. Oh and when i go to install this game im trying to play it says ive only got 1 gb of memory on my c:.

You need to give the spec on the memory. Is it PC100, PC133 or DDR266, etc. If you have PC100/133 then you have buffered and unbuffered. There is alot of variations. Some boards will not recognize past 512 even though they have memory slots. If you are using Win95/98/ME its useless past 384. You also have 3 threads on the same subject. Please stay on one.
