I have my PC on all day, though not always online. I swear the system slows down as the day goes on. Initially all programs load up quickly and responses to mouse instructions are fast. As the day wears on the system seems to slow down and responses get more sluggish. The system is quite new, I have Win XP, Norton 2004. a very large hard disc and RAM and I carry out weekly maintenance (vai Norton Tools) such as clearing temporary files etc.

Does this make any sense to anyone or am I in the first stages of something nasty.
