Help. I own an hp media center pc model M1090n. At first I installed nero lite with incd to burn cd/dvds and all went fine. After 2 recoveries and 2 low level recoveries I was told not to use nero as it conflicts with xp media addition of xp. Was told to use record now and an hp program DLA for drag and drop.

Well I can't record dvd +rw's or cd -r/rw as the drive won't recognize them. and hp is giving me the run around

Does anyone know if the nero program does have a conflict or does it corrupt windows. TIA
