Hi. my computer is a packard Bell imedia, p4, 40 gigs, XP sp2, 1.5 processing speed, 300 odd ram.

I put it on stand-by and went to start it up but nothing happened. So i took out the power lead at the back and put it in again. All I hear is buzzing eletric sound from where the lead goes. The speakers sound like a car with a flat tyre. The lights are on at the front.

Ok, now nothing happens when I put the lead into the power supply, could it need replaced? its model is FSP300-60PN(PF).

Please help.
