I would like to use an external hard drive for daily back ups of my computer.
As of now I'm just copying a few important folders (20GB) to an external hard drive every Friday afternoon. You can guess how clumsy and un-reliable this is.
I was thinking of using Maxtors OneTouch II (250 GB hard drive) with Dantz Retrospect Express (backup software), as suggested in theFebruary
issue of PCWORLD magazine. However, I mostly want backup software that’s the easiest to install, setup, and run an incremental backup automatically every night. Also, can I just install some software and use my current hard drive (acomdata 120 GB Rocket Pod)? I don’t need to run an incremental back up on my entire computer's hard drive, just a few select folders.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!![]()
