Hi all,

I would like to ask a question about my Serial Port Com 1. The thing is that when I plug in the mouse (or any other device) in Com 1, it doesn't work. Com 2 works fine. However, in the Device Manager, both ports are showing that they are working properly with no IRQ conflicts.

What can you suggest? Is there some diagnostics tool to check if my serial ports are working properly? Thanks.

is it being shown as working in the bios?

I don't know if I checked correctly, however in BIOS, Onboard Serial Ports 1 and 2 are set as Auto, and have been assigned IRQ 3 and 4. Is this OK?
