every time i print on my epson c86 from a digital camera the pictures come printed with a blue cast it does not bother me to much but it is annoying my wife so i told her i would ask on here for any ideas

The main problem is either with the blue ink cartridges micro controller chip and / or the program(s) you are using to print have the printer set to use more blue ink than normal.
To check this, select something for printing via (crtl + p) or file print, and go through the advanced settings and check the ink output levels.
