Angry irritating pop up at every starup.....

I built this new PC about 6 weeks ago now, and all has been fine so far. The only thing that is getting a bit irritating now is a ''Found New Hardware'' windows message that pops up at every startup.

The message informs me that windows has found a new hardware and it is called.....''Intel(R) 82801 USB2 Enhanced Host Controller - 24DD''.

Knowing that it says 'controller' i know that it is something to do with the motherboard, but the problem is when i click next to install it, it requests a file called 'usbehci.sys'. The problem is that i have no clue where to get this file from.

This message comes up each time i start the PC and it is really annoying afta a while. Please could someone kindly tell me where this file is located, or what the best solution to this would be.

P.S. just to make sure... this is something to do with the motherboards USB 2 controller and Windows XP right?

    Kind Regards.

    jummah.

Yes, that's right Jummah. Those drivers ought to be on the motherboard CD. Is there a README file or something on the motherboard CD that tells you which directory to go to to find each of the different drivers.

If not, then I guess you could get the 'Found New Hardware' dialog to search the entire CDROM.

Failing that, you could probably also get the drivers from the motherboard manufacturer's web site.
