Your display is working, sounds more like a driver issue - what graphics card and is it a laptop?

Please give as much info as possible.

It might also be that your graphics settings have been set to something that isn't compatible with your monitor. If you've changed the graphics card or monitor or the display settings recently, this could be your issue.

Go back into Safe Mode, log in and then go into Display Properties in Control Panel. Set the resolution down to 640x480 or 800x600, change to 16 or 256 colours and, on the Advanced screen, try to set the refresh rate to Adapter Default, if you can get to it. Click OK or Save on each screen, then reboot normally. If you can see everything again, then you can go about carefully adjusting your settings to a better, compatible configuration
