    Computer will not start-load-boot
My computer provided a message that one of my disk drives (The D drive) had an error and needed to be scanned. It offered to run scandisk. Scandisk was run and indicated that it could not fix the problem. It then reset the computer. Since the C was the primary drive with Windows etc and the D Drive was the backup hard drive I simply removed it (D drive) from the system.
Now however upon starting the computer the Windows XP screen comes on and acts like it’s loading and then resets itself and starts over. (Shows the motherboard screen etc.) and then finally gets to Windows XP which starts to load etc. and then resets itself again.
