hmmm? You know what might make things better barney? If you could give us some information?

So.... is the monitor new/old? have you loaded relevant drivers? what OS are you using? what model/make of monitor is it? what monitor did you have before? what graphics card is fitted? is it the same graphics card that is now fitted? did the old monitor need drivers? have they been uninstalled? if the monitor is 2nd hand did you see it working? are there any low pins on the monitor lead? is the monitor and pc connection clean? and probably most likely, did you unseat the graphics card whilst fitting the new monitor? if not then have you tried the monitor in a known good system?

Please, please -Please, try to give as much information as possible when asking a question. The people on this forum have unfortunately had their psychic powers limited to 'Feels like tea-time' and other stunning mind tricks of such magnitude by order of 'the collective'

??? My answer seems to have gotten lost in the post, sorry. I'll try again:

I would not have thought the monitors drivers would have such an impact, obviously I'm mistaken. Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the graphics card drivers? Also have you got the latest direct-X drivers (though I'm unsure this would help).

Yours hoping this one gets to you

Does that mean you have uninstalled and re-installed the graphics card drivers or are you after a different answer?
