    printer driver reset

this isnt really a major problem but just wondering why my pc does this , and if theres anyway so it does it automatically . . . .

when i want to print somthing i have to reset my printer drivers, ( see bottom) obviously it isnt hard but just wondering why i have to do it? and if theres any way like iv said to do it automatically? ( see my signature for pc specs, and my printer is an epson 880 stylus with up to date driver software)

( the first picture is what my pc says when i try to print somthing, and the second picture is me reseting it.)

I'd say either the drivers are poorly written/incorrect or not installed correctly.

Is that win98? And you definately have the latest correct drivers?

Uninstall your printer drivers and follow the FAQ for installing the drivers to the letter.
Run wreset.exe and check that neither bi-directional nor advanced printing features have been enabled, wreset should disable them.

Some printers don't like running from a print server :-(

ai no matter what me drivers its always doing this! i gotta have it thru a router coz atm i currently got to pcs sharing me connection. think over christmas tho im getting rid of my old comp and thus getting rid of router so i shouldnt get this prob anymore.
btw are theyr any disadvantages of running one pc through a router? eg static ip?
