    vpu recovery/pc switching off:S

m having a few more problems with my pc , every so often when im on my pc my monitor just turns off, then says "no signal input" but my pc carrys on running as i can still hear music. it doesnt do it when im on eg a game but usualy when im on msn or the internet with music playing. i think it may have somthing to do with vpu recovery because before when i had vpu recovery on what normally happened was the screen wud go off , then on saying vpu error etc, i had this problem a while ago and it used to do it alot and i managed to fix it with 4 in 1 motherboard drivers , iv tried doing that now but it doesnt work.

any ideas? il post a breif hardware spec and if you need more info just as
    320gb hard drive
    via p4m-t motherboard
    ati 512mb graphics
    3.2ghz pentium 4
    windows xp home

    "no signal input"

The monitor is IMHO losing the connection to your PC.

Check your lead connector from monitor to PC, then make sure your Graphics card (if you have one) is seated securely.

    In My Honest Opinion=IMHO

'No Signal Input' Is your monitors response to you if it does not receive a response from the PC in a given time, ie I assume your lead is disconnected or your graphics card is in some way not functioning/sending the signal your monitor is expecting.

....and yes, ensure your graphics card is seated correctly. Or 'screwed in tight'.
