I recently refurbished a Windows 95 computer, and installed Windows 98 SE. I have Two Windows XP computers which are networked to provide access to the internet. Quite independent of this network, I set up access to my ISP user account on the Windows98 SE computer. All went fine so far as IE and outlook express were concerned, however a couple of days later, I found it impossible to save the password anywhere on this computer and each time I accessed IE or OE, I have to re-type the password. I contacted my ISP who suggested I should re-install 'Client for Microsoft network' and this would cure the problem. It did not do anything, hence this post, in case anybody can help me out.
In case it could be relevant, I did install 'Sygate' firewall.
Any help would be appreciated,
