BT Homehub v.2.0 port forwarding to two devices?
Hi all,
I have just moved from my trusty Netgear DG834G to a shiny black BT Homehub v.2.0, mostly everything is fine and this may appear to be a really stupid question but, I can forward ports and assign the open port to a specific device but can't work out how to assign the same port to another device on my network at the same time?
I'm trying to use BOINC on my networked computers and I can't appear to be able to change which port the program uses, so I can only allow one or the other to connect at any one time.
This was simple in the Netgear but I can't appear to find the solution on the home hub?
Anyone with experience with the Homehub know if this can be done? Surely it can, right?
When I have two computers attempting to use the same port I get 'overlap' errors in the event log, please someone tell me this is possible, I can't find anything in the documentation or through searches, it's like BT assume you'll never need more than one computer to access the same port at any one time, please help, or put my mind at rest for searching for something that can't be done so I can then bin the homehub and get a decent usable, practical, router that understands modern home networking needs.
Many thanks
u all
