For almost a year i have had very ppor speeds with my broadband...
My last provider wouldnt do anything about it and my newest provider has been a barrel of help but still none the wiser to why my speed is so slow

On their end they can see that the speed is coming in at 11mbps but most of the time I struggle to get 1mbps... rather than having expensive engineering done I would like to know if there is a possible fix that I can do with my pc as it doesnt show up as slow with the engineers equipment...

I have windows xp on sp3 with a huwai router
(network provided me with it and replaced recently to see if that was the problem)
