Alas, the ways of wireless connections are hard to understand...

I have a jensen 2954 wireless router and a speedtouch modem thing. I have one stationary computer directly plugged into the modem, and there are several laptops that occationally use the wireless connection. For many months this has worked flawlessly.

Then, some weeks ago, my wireless units suddenly started to disconnect from the net. Signal strength would show "Strong" etc, but still no real connection. They would go offline for a few minutes or more, and then suddenly connection would return. After a while i noticed that every time i turn my stationary pc on, the wireless connected units would go offline. But not only then. It happens to all laptopss, not just one. So i dont think the issue lies with the laptops`settings. Then after X number of minutes it would get back online etc, and so the story goes.

When i plug in a cable from my modem, its no problem, then net is back on.

Any thoughts on what i can do/investigate do deal with this increasingly annoying issue would be of great help.
