Hi, Just moved house and the router is at the other side of the building from where I need my p.c. It's connected to the only phone line socket in the house. Laptop works fine (wifi) but I need to buy something that will connect my desktop p.c. wirelessly to the router without using 2 miles of cable through the rooms. What do I need to buy please? It sounds like you need one of these. Make sure you get one that supports your type wireless - generally if you get one that supports 802.11n standards, it will be backwards compatible with 11b and 11g - check specs to be sure.
