BT Broadband won't accept a password
I have a wireless network. I bought my wife a new PC and tried to connect it to the network. The PC sees the network OK as the browsers work and she can receive emails at the mail box I set up for her. What we can't do is to send mails outward from her PC. The system asked for the password to the SMTP outgoing server. I know the password, but the system won't accept it. So far as I can see everything was set up exactly in the same way as on my own PC where everything works OK. We have Mozilla Thunderbird ....22 on both machines. Has anyone got an idea what to do, please ? David Morley
