Sharing ADSL Wanadoo Broadband
Hello, right we have a student home where we recently acquired Wanadoo Boraband one 1MB.The connection is running fine on the host computer which the USB modem is connected to (the host and one other computer has the new service patch fro XP installed if that makes a difference).
However, we are having trouble connecting the rest of the computers to the internet. All the computers work fine on the network and can share any files. We can not connect to the internet through the network though. There are six computers running on the network and all require internet connections. One is running on an Windows ME opertaing system and the rest are on XP. There are two hubs that are connected correctly in the house. The host has setup the options to Share the internet while the rest have setup to recieve it through the LAN.
If anyone would like anymore details feel free to ask.
Any responce or ideas would be appreciated.
Cheers, Ryan.

I'm no expert in ICS so cannot help with advice. What I would say to you is that for a reliable, stable and hassle free internet connection invest the £50 in an ADSL modem/router and your headaches will disappear. Given that you have a working network it will slot in very easily.
