    Norton Internet Security 2005 And Aim

    Ok well I have Norton Internet Security 2005 and AIM signs on perfectly fine, but when i try to send or get a file it does not work unless i disable the firewall, and I don't want to have to do that all the time, can someone help me out please!

    I don't know Norton but your going to have to let it know that AIM can "act as a server" however you do that. I know in ZoneAlarm you put a tick in the checkbox next to aim to say et it act as a server.

Now to your question, you will need to allow AOL permission to act as server as Big T said or you will need to contact AOL and find out what ports, incoming and outgoing you need to allow in the Norton firewall.     There is an option to foward ports on Norton Internet Security 2005? I've looked in all the options and can't find that option. Where can I find this option? Thanks.

    then when u configured AIM u screwed up somewhere cause i have norton internet security 2005 and i constantly send files to ppl
