    Need Wi-Fi Help :(

I finally have 4 green bars on my laptop saying that I have "Excellent" signal on my wireless connection. But when I try to do anything with the Internet, (Sign in to messenger, trying to browse the net using IE6,) it says that there is no connection. In Network Connections it shows: Wireless Network Connection. It is enabled and it is using my wireless network card. (D-Link DWL-650G) When I click on it tells that the status is connected, and the signal strength is full. 34 Packets sent, 0 recieved. Are there some settings that I have to change? because all that I have done is inserted my wireless network card, installed the drivers, which are all up to date, but still cannot do anything. I have tryed repairing the connection but it says it has a problem with renewing the ip.. i've tryed renewing the ip but it wants to renew the ip of the other default connection, "Local Area Connection". What do i do!?

I have the same problem. Can anyone help us? I'm running XP on a desktop. I just installed a Belkin Wireless G Desktop Card. Shows full signal, but yet I can't connect.
