USB internet ---> router? (how can i share my USB internet between 2+ computers?
Hey,
Been without net for a while and picked up a wireless USB adapter "thingie" (you plug it in, and it connects to a network in the sky providing reasonablly fast speed net) its a prepaid thingo.
anyway so i cant figure out how to get it to be shared across 2 or more computers.
we have a wireless/wired integrated router but i cant see how i can share it accross networks
a relivant post on yahoo answers had some guy going on about bridging but i cant since it thinks its a dialup internet (the usb) to bridge u have to have 2 or more LAN or DSL connections i believe.
included is a link to a very relivant yahoo answers
any help is greatly appreciated thankyou

Hiya,
I'm just wondering if you could post a link to the product you have.

hey sorry for the late reply but we got the net now anyway and my bro just used the usb solo, i didn't really need the net that bad =p
but if you still want a link to the usb let me know m8.

You could probably share it by setting up an 'ad-hoc' network from the computer it is connected to.
The network performance might not be great, though.
