    Connect by wire then conect by wireless ?

    Hi, can i connect to the internet by going via another PC?

    i have one PC which i could connect to another by wire, which is then connectd wirelessly to the router.

    only one PC has wireless capability by way of a wireless card.

    i cannot get the first PC physically close enough to the router to connect by wire. so can the wire go to the wireless PC and then to the internet?

    You can get a 50 foot cable for about $20.00 now so i recommend that because you need a router to do what you want , and it is still not quite what you wanted to do,
    you can by a linksys router which will allow you to wirelessly connect and cable connect
    they will usually come with a short cable which will give you more slack to connect via Ethernet.
