when people call in the internet light will be off and i cant use the internet.i just upgrade the speed before it about 350kbps now it about 3300kbps is that why? if not what way can it be solve, this never happen before when it 350kbps.

verizon, they said it because of the filter thing of the phone. They said that because of the phone iinterfere with the Modem or something similar to that.

Do you have the filters on your phone lines?
This is something you always should have had.
Did they ask you that? Did they not try to troubleshoot the problem with you?
Was this an upgrade through their service?
You might need a firmware upgrade for the modem or perhaps a different modem.
I am surprised that they would not offer further help. You are their customer and they are responsible for your service and satisfaction.

i have filters on the phone, and they did said that and they said i need a new filter but that cant be because it happen just after the upgrade.i just increase the speed to 3mbps. i ask they do i need a new modem and they said no. i dont think they care because when signup we made an agreeement that several year and if we have problem we still have to pay them, but there still some care because before that i call there people that helpful.

Service should not cost you anything and they are responsible.

If you need a different filter they should send you one.
The only other thing I can think of is a firmware upgrade to the modem.

download the E90-611015-06,it said install successful.. i been looking for a new isp but verizon give me the best offer. i been with it for several years so they offer me free upgrade to 3mbps for $20 and they upgrade to 7mbps for $24, im planning to upgrade to 7 after the problem is solved.ill call them tomorrow now it night.

Their service line is 24/7.
Anyway they are responsible and should be able to get you going.
Those are nice prices. I get 8 Mbps from BellSouth @ $45.

the only reason they give me that offer is because i been with them for over 5 years, how long you been with your isp maybe they give you a free upgrade too. i didnt know i can get free upgrade, i was calling them for some support and the lady told me i can get free upgrade.
