    nat

The most possible reason of a yellow light status is that your pc is in an intranet. So you have to configure a NAT (Network Address Translation) for BitComet listening port on your gateway. Another reason is the firewall used by your system or your ISPs system blocked this port.

how to configure a NAT, im using Westell model 6100.

I have no specific experience with Westel but 'port forwarding' is likely what to need to solve your issues.

    Click 'define custom service' BUTTON.

Similarly, locate the same following text 'Click the define custom service button near the bottom of the page' that is then followed by 'Custom Service' instructions to setup port forwarding.

Save 20% on AVG Internet Security 2012 Suite!
The information on and for this router appears to be horrible, at best:

I have no simple means to give you any specific advice. You might want to explore:

    'Select a Service'
    'define custom service'
