hi, my friend has been suffering with the internet connection. He told me, his router is beside him and he is using wireless internet connection. the brand that he is using is prolink. What could be the problem, can you help me..?? every few minutes, the internet connection gets disconnected.

Check your security settings (popup blockers, browser options, etc.) especially virus & firewall settings.
I had a similar problem with one of my PCs when running Earthlink's Protection Control Center™. I never did satisfy myself as to what exactly eas causing it but when I disabled Earthlink's protection everything was fine. I installe free Avast & haven't had a problem since.
