I've managed to set up my Linksys WAG54GS Wireless Modem Router which was an overly complicated process so I'm pretty happy. It's a DSL connection to Orange Broadband in the UK. Here's my tastefully photoshopped schematic:



Now, I can't for the life of me get the desktop to communicate with the laptop. Through searching the internet the only help I can get is "change the workgroup" - which is the first thing I did...

For the desktop I have COMODO Firewall Pro v2.4.18.184, and for the laptop v3.0.15.277. I'm pretty sure I've accounted for this, though I'm not too sure.

Any suggestions? I've already looked at http://www.d-a-l.com/articles/library/102.html.
